COVID-19 Releases per Supreme Judicial Court Order

Following a lawsuit filed to compel mass releases from jails across Massachusetts in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the state Supreme Judicial Court on April 7, 2020 ordered the trial courts to review certain individuals for presumptive release from custody.

In an effort to keep the public informed about who is being released with serious charges pending, while still protecting the privacy of those accused of crimes, the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office offers the following list that will be updated through the duration of the pandemic.
